Hayley Kosan is an award-winning filmmaker from Phoenix living in New York City.

Graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in Film and Media Production, Hayley’s senior thesis film, The Understudy, won several national awards including Best Director, Best Cinematography at Columbia University National Undergraduate Festival and Best Ensemble at LA Comedy Fest.

In 2015 she co-created the web series Horrible Insane Girl for IFC Comedy Crib and became an associate producer for The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, shooting and directing web and on-air sketches. That summer she also directed the short film, Mafia Dad.

Hayley continues grow within the comedy community, shooting and directing projects for Refinery29, Conde Nast and Above Average. She regularly collaborates with Upright Citizen Brigade performers and this past winter directed and shot the independent web series’ Straight Marriage and The Place We Live and recently finished a music video for political comic/musician, Jamie Kilstein.

Hayley would like you to know her favorite Meryl Streep film is A Cry in the Dark and strongly feels Meryl's performance is wildly overlooked, which she knows is insane to say but stands by it.
